Colin McCafferty
Colin McCafferty is Managing Partner of McCafferty & Company, focused on the firm’s media, entertainment and communications investment banking business. Prior to founding McCafferty, Mr. McCafferty was Director of Private Equity for Saban Capital Group, a media private equity fund. Prior to joining Saban, Mr. McCafferty was a member of the Goldman Sachs media group in New York. Mr. McCafferty began his career at CBS, where he was hired by Peter Lund to work primarily on the Olympics in Nagano, Japan. Mr. McCafferty was nominated for two Emmy’s for his work as a producer on those games. Mr. McCafferty received his MBA from Harvard University. He received his B.A. from Miami University, and studied at Sophia University in Japan.
Conor Gaughan
Conor Gaughan is Vice President at McCafferty & Company, focused on the firm’s media, entertainment and communications investment banking business. Prior to joining McCafferty & Company, Mr. Gaughan was a consultant at Ferrazzi Greenlight, a strategic consulting firm where he led the Big Task Weekend business practice. Mr. Gaughan was previously the founder of WineFetch.com, an online community for wine consumers. Mr. Gaughan began his career at Banc of America Securities in the Media & Telecommunications group. He graduated with honors from Harvard University with a degree in Economics.
